Taking charge of your financial well-being on your terms empowers you to prepare for the future. That’s why Guardian WomenTM was created as a community of like-minded women who are inspired to take control of their financial futures.

Our goal is to create an environment that fosters the exchange of ideas and the creation of meaningful connections. We recognize the need to transform the investment journey to better meet the needs of female clients. Trailblazer. Entrepreneur. Philanthropist. These are just three of many attributes we could use to describe the life of Sherry Shannon-Vanstone, President and CEO of Profound Impact Corporation, and co-founder of Women Funding Women Inc. A warm and brilliant yet humble woman, Sherry will share stories from her multifaceted life. It’s a can’t-miss event that will inspire – and, quite possibly, astound – you.

Book number three in our library of recommended reads is So Big by Edna Ferber. Amazingly, the book celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2024, but its themes continue to resonate today. The 1925 Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction, was prescient in many ways, focusing on a woman who confronts the conventions of the time while framing herself within them, touching on motherhood, capitalism, class struggles, the desire for a better life and a longing for beauty and art.
